Rusted Roost

This month, Nutritionists Kimberly and Erin ventured out to Rusted Roost, a brand-new restaurant located on Main Street in Menasha.

Rusted Roost shares its encouraging message of ‘Eat • Drink • Visit’ and we surely can gather there to rest within this roost! They are an American Bistro with a local farm & field to the table dining experience.
From the minute you walk in, the cozy atmosphere is welcoming and our photos speak for themselves with how stylish their interior décor is (and subtle chickens & roosters throughout the restaurant). The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive waiting to help answer any of our questions.
Another fun fact is that while we have good weather outside, boaters can boat to the Rusted Roost and tie up! There are 15+ public slips right across the road and only steps from the restaurant’s front door! And did we mention that during beautiful summer weather, the restaurant has a huge garage door at the front of the building open so you can dine inside while enjoying all the benefits of fresh air and breezes from outside.

The creative cuisine made it difficult to choose an entrée, and there are so many health-conscious items to choose from. The Rusted Roost menu categories include:

For our entrees, we ordered and highly recommend:

“CORNUCOPIA PLATE (VEGAN)”- Grilled Zucchini served with Vegan Mashed Potatoes, Roast Carrots, and Sautéed Mushrooms

“HUNTER’S CHICKEN”- Roasted Chicken Breast over Sautéed Mushrooms, topped with Tomato Sauce with Onion and Tarragon
