MAD Elephant Restaurant
A Little History:
Mad Elephant occupies the former location of Houdini’s Escape Gastropub, which closed its doors in July 2023 after a decade of serving the Appleton community. The space was then transformed into Mad Elephant, blending Thai cuisine with fusion dishes in a vibrant atmosphere.
For a quick flavorful lunch, Kimberly and Erin ordered the Thai Chicken and the Pad Almonds with Chicken—both packed with lean protein, veggies, and just the right amount of satisfying flavor (without the post-lunch crash ).
Why we love it for our Nutritional Healing community:
You can customize spice levels to support digestion
Many dishes are gluten-free and dairy-free friendly
Options to add extra veggies or swap rice for a lighter base
They use fresh ingredients with a focus on clean, balanced flavors
Portion sizes = great for a healthy lunch or leftovers for later
Whether you’re:
Rushing between appointments
Needing a nourishing no-cook night
Craving Thai food that doesn’t derail your health goals…
Mad Elephant is a fantastic choice for pickup, dine-in, or delivery!

Tip: Ask for sauce on the side if you’re being mindful of sodium or sugar intake…still delicious, just with a little more control!
