Located in Appleton, SAP is taking a locally sourced, sustainable approach to its menu. We could not be more thrilled about a farm-to-table restaurant and they’ve been a favorite of ours for years, so a blog spotlight was a must! Farm-to-table restaurants offer the benefit of serving fresh, locally sourced ingredients, promoting sustainability, supporting local farmers, and providing a connection between diners and the origins of their food. This approach often results in higher quality and more environmentally friendly dining experiences.
Diners can learn straight from SAP’s website that, We are passionate about food and people. We are committed to connecting ourselves and our guests to the food that we eat, offering from-scratch and made-to-order dishes in an atmosphere that is welcoming and familiar. We source from our “backyard” when possible, supporting local and WI-made/grown products. We work hard together, we give back generously to the community that supports us and we have fun while doing it. We will never stop trying to be the best we can be for our guests and for each other.”
We visited during chilly January, but if it were summer, the two clear garage doors out front would be open to allow for fresh air seating. Full of natural lighting, pops of teal and red are incredibly eye-catching. We feel this is a high-end brunch spot that rivals those of larger metropolitan areas! We loved the vibe of the restaurant with a modern industrial feel along with hints of retro décor.
One of the highlights of SAP is its baked goods section where you can pop in and grab a coffee or latte (Colectivo Coffee). We highly recommend dining in-house to enjoy the entire experience. The servers are highly attentive and beyond positive while they help you navigate the menu and will certainly make accommodations where desired. This is incredible to see from a staff immersed in such a lively destination, consistently attracting a diverse crowd of enthusiastic patrons eager to savor its delicious offerings. The perpetual buzz and high demand speak to its popularity and the exceptional dining experience it consistently delivers.
The food is phenomenal. We dined during lunch and ordered one of the ‘Power Bowl’ and added a duck egg for protein. We also ordered the ‘Chicken Fajita Bowl.’ Talk about tasting the rainbow of colors and food group variety!
From previous dining experiences (and if looking for breakfast items) the SAP salad is the perfect compliment to any time of the day. Paired with a build-your-own omelette or huevos rancheros, now that’s a great way to start the day!
Support small businesses and dine/shop local! We love partnering with local businesses, especially when it enhances the quality of life for our clients at Nutritional Healing. Their menu will exceed your expectations in the world of food restrictions, providing a vast array of items to choose from.
SAP is located in the strip mall by the Fox River Mall next to Carmella’s and Fava Tea Company. Check them out during your next moment of, “hmmmmm, where should we eat?”
