NH Approved Chili

1# leanest ground beef
1 1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper
1 medium onion
3 cans drained, rinsed dark/light red kidney beans
2 -14 oz stewed tomatoes, not drained, no salt if you can find it (food process so they aren’t big chunks)
1 – 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
2t garlic powder
1 t crushed red pepper
2 T chili powder
1 T cumin
1/2t paprika

Cook the beef in he frying pan. Food process the meet so it is finely ground up. Add to the crockpot. Chop your onion and add to the crockpot with the rest of the prepared ingredients.
Add up to 14 oz of water. I usually use about 10-12. Just depend largely on the consistency you prefer.

Cook on high for 6 hours or low all day.
